Compared to standard butyl rubber bicycle inner tubes, latex tubes are considerably more elastic (10x elongation compared to 2-3x). More importantly, Latex Rubber has significantly lower coefficient of damping which means that when latex rubber is stretched or flexed, it returns to shape faster and with less energy loss.

What does this mean for an inner tube?  Latex inner tubes are generally 2-5 Watts (per tire) more efficient at 30mph than tubes made of other materials. They are harder to pinch-flat and offer superior ride quality, especially when combined with supple, low rolling resistance tires. This tube has been sized to fit tires measuring 24-30mm, which will equate to 23-28mm tires used on modern wider rims.  Valve stem length is 42mm and will work in all modern disc wheels.

    Awesome Tubes and Extenders

I’ve been several hundred miles on these tubes/extenders and LOVE them. So much so that when they can back in stock I bought another set as a back up just in case. Definitely makes a noticeable difference in ride quality and seem to be super durable. Worth the extra time to set them up right.

    Great product, works very product.

Been using these tubes for a year now and I really like them. Had a blowout the first time that I used them, my fault though. Using them in Tubeless ready tires...

    Expensive but worth it

Not the lightest tubes, but certainly these are really fast, and for some reason they have really good puncture resistance in my experience.

You can also patch them if they get damaged. The only drawback is that you lose pressure fast, you have to inflate your tires before every ride.
