In our quest to create the ultimate bottle cage, we found ourselves completely fascinated by the look, feel, and durability of tubular titanium construction. This combination of design characteristics produces a cage that has better retention on gravel and other harsh surfaces and has proven to be the superior design when mounted on the underside of the down tube, so common in adventure riding and touring. While classic in appearance, this material, and its manufacturing are as complex and high tech as it gets.
The Straw Specifications:
Cleaning and care: Oils from your hands and fingers can change the anodized color. To revive color and/or clean the cages (and straws), use rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive products, this will damage the anodized finish. For the straws, dish soap and water are best.
It may seem silly to spend this much on bottle cages, but they do what they should do better than any cages I’ve ever had. Solid reproducible grip over time and over miles of gravel, never lost a bottle. Kids think the colored straws are the bomb as well
Impeccable welds and quality bottle cages, waiting for my titanium bike to install
What a stunning piece of bike jewellery! Have bought for my new N+1 bike build. Just waiting for the final components to arrive and then these bad boys will be bolted on. Another amazing piece of craftsmanship from Silca. I have an old Silca track pump, must be 30 years old, which is still going strong and still looks an awesome piece of kit :)
I know we have many choices when it comes to high end water bottle cages. I personally prefer Ti and this is my second set of Ti cages from Silca. These have an amazing look and all the other qualities of a Ti cage. I highly recommend them
