Absolute best lube.
I was reluctant to use this being a Dumonde 'yellow' lube fan for years. On the advice of a riding buddy, I switched to the Silca S-S lube and was amazed at the upgrade. Totally quiet, smooth and at times it feels like I have no chain when powering! Love the stuff. I have ridden for 60 years, and even owned a bike shop for 10 years, so I am 'fluent' on all brands of the stuff. And as an added bonus, it is the BEST lube for Speedply/Wahoo cleats, bar none. Love It!

Great idea
Having a drip product that is truly compatible with melt-on-chain treatment wax is a godsend for multi-day trips. Chain wax can be entirely cleaned before re treatment by just a few boiling water rinses and this product can be removed that way also. It's super important to keep a chain clean (inside AND out) so removing the need for multiple solvent cleaning baths is a great idea. The only time those baths are needed is with a new chain.
Plus, according to Zerofrictioncycling, this is the only drip lube to provide full penetration.
I just wish it didn’t need to set for 24-48 hours for full effect.
