A ratchet wrench is a great tool for speeding fastener installation / removal or for getting at bolts with limited rotational access. The SILCA T-RATCHET KIT is a compact ratchet wrench that can also be configured as a T-Handle or as a bit driver. The magnetic interfaces provide quick and secure connection of the supplied assortment of S2 steel bits. The low-angle ratchet engagement makes the most of each rotation and can transfer loads far exceeding torque spec of most fasteners.
The T-Ratchet Kit is ready to use when removed from the package. If you would like to learn more about features, functions and maintenance of the T-Ratchet Kit, please visit the SILCA resource center.
Well thought out tool and great quality. Perfect for quick fixes and small enough to carry everyday.
Perfect little wallet sized kit for everyday carry to make sure you can repair your own manual wheelchair or even powerchair on the fly. This tool has saved my butt so many times! Compact, powerful, and elegant.
Best mini ratchet tool I have ever used.
The wrench is very well made with case and bits that are of high quality. The bits fit better than Park Tool bits/tools, but not as well as PB Swiss bits/tools. The size is perfect for travel or a race bag when you can’t or don’t want to carry a larger wrench. I like that the wrench can be used without the torque tube to remove bolts or to tighten prior to checking the torque (remember most torque wrenches should only be used to check torque not to loosen or tighten). The primary drawback is the 2-8nm range. While this range is sufficient for most, if not all, of the minor adjustments one might want to make to delicate carbon components, you can’t use it to torque thru-axles (10-12nm usually). As thru-axles are commonly removed for travel a torque range up to 12 nm would be ideal. The other drawbacks are that the scale is difficult to read, and it is easy to turn the wrench past the scale you are trying to use if the bolt wasn’t pretorqued closely to the target torque.
