    Frequently asked questions

    What valve length do I need?

    If you have a rim with a depth under 40mm please choose the 50mm valve option. If you have a rim with a depth between 40 and 60mm please choose our 70mm valve option.

    Do you offer any other valve lengths?

    At this time, we only offer our valves in 50mm and 70mm. We may be expanding these offerings in the future. If you have a specific size request, please email us at sales@silca.cc.

    Are both of these valve sizes threaded completely?

    No. Only the 50mm valve stem is threaded from top to bottom.

    How tight should I tighten this valve?

    This valve should be hand tight.

    Are these valves compatible with sealant?

    Yes. These valves feature removable valve cores and are compatible with our injecatble sealant.

    How can I prevent this valve from clogging?

    To help prevent this valve from clogging, add a small ammount of Synergetic to the removable core and store your tire with the valve at the 6o'clock position.
