    SILCA Gear Wipes are two-sided, disposable towels designed to remove dirt, grease oils, and sweat from your cycling gear. Each wipe contains a textured scrubbing side for removal of heavy dirt or grime and a soft polishing side for finish cleaning which leaves behind a spotless shine. The wipes use cosmetic grade cleaning agents which are safe for use on hands and skin but contain no lotions or moisturizers which can leave behind streaks or slimy residues.

    Are Gear Wipes Safe to use on a Matte frame?

    Yes, Gear Wipes are safe to use on a Matte frame. We do recommend that you use the less abrasive side of these wipes on these frames for the best results.

    Can I use gear wipes on my brake pads and rotors?

    Although Gear Wipes do not leave a residue, we do not recommend that these are used on your brake pads or rotors. Please choose our Brake and Drivetrain cleaner for these components.

    What is the shelf life of Gear Wipes?

    Our Gear Wipes will have a shelf life similar to any household wipe. In an opened but thightly sealed container, you can expect these to remain moist for 1-2 years.

    How do Gear Wipes compare to your BioDegreaser?

    Although our BioDegreaser has been discontinued, it is still as the cleaning solution in our Gear Wipes. These Gear Wipes are a great alternative for past BioDegreaser users.
