What does the Chain Wax Starter Bundle include?

You can select the items you want. It does include a Chain Waxing System with the appropriate plug, a bag of Secret Chain Blend Wax, one method of stripping the chain, and one or more of drip wax or wax additives.

How long does it take to prepare and wax my chain?

Depending on the stripping method chosen, it can take anywhere from 0 minutes, to about 15 minutes with SILCA products. The old method takes about 2 hours.

Why choose drip-on wax over traditional hot waxing?

Drip on wax is a slightly simpler application process that doesn’t require removing the chain so it can be easier particularly for re-waxing applications.

Is it environmentally friendly?

Yes, we do not use any PFAS chemicals in any of our products.
