    L’Ultimate Chain Waxing System est un système compact conçu pour enduire votre chaîne de cire directement chez vous. Le chauffe-cire, le support d’égouttement et l’anneau de suspension pour chaîne sont inclus pour vous permettre de commencer à l’utiliser immédiatement et ainsi obtenir une transmission la plus propre, silencieuse et efficace possible.

    Le bain de cire possède un couvercle transparent ventilé, conçu pour retenir la chaleur tout en permettant de vérifier que la cire est entièrement fondue. Le compagnon idéal du StripChip pour nettoyer votre chaîne en une seule étape, sans dégraissant.

    Afin de garantir une précision absolue, notre appareil est équipé d’un contrôleur PID et non pas d’un simple thermostat. Cela signifie que la cire est chauffée à la température recommandée, ce qui permet d’éviter les risques de surchauffe courants avec les systèmes traditionnels de type « mijoteuse ». Grâce à ce contrôle plus précis, il est recommandé de chauffer la cire à une température de 125 °C pour qu’elle fonde plus rapidement. Ensuite, la cire doit être maintenue à 75 °C, une fois qu’elle est assez chaude pour l’application. Cela assure le temps de préparation le plus court sur le marché.

    Le support de séchage pour chaîne garantit un séchage sans dommage : l’excès de cire s’écoule directement dans le bain et peut être réutilisé lors de la prochaine application. Grâce à sa base à rainures, le bain de fusion reste stable, ce qui permet de maintenir en toute sécurité l’anneau de suspension pour chaîne.

    L’anneau de suspension pour chaîne est constitué d’un câble en acier fileté à une extrémité, ce qui vous permet de l’insérer dans les maillons de votre chaîne et de le verrouiller fermement à l’autre extrémité. Plongez votre chaîne dans la cire, agitez-la et suspendez-la, sans en mettre partout ni avoir à toucher un pot de cire chaude.

    N’utilisez jamais cet appareil si le cordon ou la fiche sont endommagés, s’il ne fonctionne pas correctement, s’il a subi un choc ou une détérioration quelconque, ou s’il est tombé dans l’eau. Ne laissez pas les enfants jouer avec l’appareil. Toute utilisation de cet appareil à proximité d’enfants doit se faire sous surveillance constante.

    How do I switch the system between Farenheit and Celcius?

    If your system gets switched from farenheit to celcius, please press and hold the power button to switch back.

    What is included with my purchase?

    When purchasing a Chain Waxing System, you will receive your wax melter, chain coupler, and chain hanging stand. This does not include any wax or wax additives. These can be purchased separately.

    What voltage is my system?

    Our standard Wax System (US/CAN plug) is 110V while our UK,EU, and AUS systems are 220V.

    Is the metal pot removable?

    Unfortunately, the metal bowl in this system is not removable. If you are looking to switch between two wax blends, allow the wax in the bowl to fully cool. Then, turn the melter on low for a few moments. Allow just the edges of the wax to melt. You can then remove this "puck" of wax. You can then switch between these pucks when looking to wax with different blends!

    How many chains can be waxed at once?

    This system is designed to hold one standard bike chain. If you are waxing a longer chain for a trike, tandem, etc. you may want to consider waxing your chain using an alternative method.

    Why does my system show that it has reached the pre-set temperature before all of the wax has melted?

    You may notice a delay between the temperature display and the melting of your wax in this system. This is because the temperature gauge in this system is on the outside of the metal bowl, which means the wax that is touching the metal bowl actually is that hot and will reach 75°C much sooner than the middle. Unfortunately, this is the closest that we could get this gauge. All of the wax in your system should reach your desired temperatre that is refelcted on the display with in ten minutes of the correct temperature being displayed.

    Can I store my wax in this system?

    Yes, we recommend that you leave your used wax in this system. You can then re-heat and re-use this wax for your next new chain or re-wax!

    How much wax should I put in my system?

    We recommend adding around half of your bag of Hot Wax to this system or around 250g to help prevent overflow.

    What’s included in the Chain Waxing System kit?

    Included in the kit is a wax warmer, chain coupler, and hanging stand. Wax and chain stripper is not included.

    How precise is the heating system?

    The temperature is PID controlled meaning the heating element will go to the prescribed temperature. This means it will have a slight variation throughout the pot as it is heated from the outside of the pot, but it will be within 2-3C of the displayed temperature after the wax has had time to heat evenly.

    How does the wax-catch setup work?

    All excess wax will drip back into the pot for the most efficient waxing set up possible.

    Is using this system cleaner than other waxing methods?

    Yes, the ability to easily hang the chain directly above the wax pot means you virtually eliminate spills, drips, etc from your waxing routine.
