Lifetime Warranty

The SILCA Lifetime Warranty covers products from manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the user.  It further covers the function of all hard parts for 7 years from the date of purchase.  Expected wear and tear is not covered.  Learn more about warranties.

The unique magnetic slide-lock design of the VENTI chain-tool allows it to be more than twice as long as other designs for exceptional ergonomics in use, while also allowing it to be removed completely from the tool for improved functionality.  The forged mid-length tools are long enough to reach all common cycling fasteners, but not so long that they twist or deform under load.  The ergonomic side plates also hold a discreet magnetic storage feature for a spare master link and all tools are coated with SILCA's unique high-grip chrome plating which provides better torque transfer at the bolt interface.

Nicely made but some flaws and omissions

The quality of the bits is OK and is an appropriate selection for a modern road bike. Most of the design is fairly standard - set of rotating keys and drivers that fold flat between two metal rails.

The least conventional aspect is the chain splitter, which is partially on a large metal plate that detaches from the main body of the tool. Unfortunately this falls out too easily and will just stay detached in your saddle bag or pocket most of the time.

The other flaw is that, like many other wide multitools, it quickly works itself loose during use. You need a torx driver to tighten it back up fairly often.

One tool that's omitted is any kind of tubeless plug repair device.

Given that this is one of the priciest multitools out there I don't think it merits a great rating with these flaws

      Switzerland, move over

Correct tools for the ride. If only the chain tool could be titanium and still work..

      Beautiful toolset

Solid, well crafted, clean etc etc.

The chain break tool is great! it snaps into the main toolset with a great "click" .

The pedal removal "socket" also clicks in so nicely. With other tools, you always have to worry about it flying off forever.

My only hope for the future. I hope Silca could manufacture the chain break tool, Currently, it weighs the same as the entire toolset.
