SILCA Eastern Territory Sales Manager

Job Description:
Aeromind LLC D.B.A SILCA is looking for a Territory Sales Manager with demonstrated experience closely managing and growing a portfolio of customers for small or medium sized companies.

Working with outside contractors, this individual will be responsible for cultivating the current book of business in the Eastern United States as well as working to identify, pursue, and ultimately land new business for SILCA. The ideal candidate is a hard-working individual with an enthusiastic approach to sales.

At SILCA, you will have the opportunity to deliver innovative sales solutions at a rapidly growing 102-year-old startup, transplanted from Milan, Italy to Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities: 

  • Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies for the Eastern half of the USA
  • Generate sales leads and drive conversions
  • Monitor territory orders
  • Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
  • Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Present products and services to prospective customers
  • Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
  • Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes to Rep Groups within your geographical areas
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs
  • Monitor competition within assigned region
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Sales Manager

Requirements: 

  • Periodic travel to the territory and trade shows
  • Proven experience as a Sales Professional
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • 2+ Years Sales experience
